The building is historic and beautiful. It is located on a hill. The gardens and pool area have a breath taking view of Florence. The hotel has a very relaxed air coupled with service of a very high order. The staff is very efficient , courteous and attentive. The management ensures highest standards in all services. The cuisine served in the restaurants and the selection of wines in the bar and wine cellar are exquisite. Walks in and around the property are wonderful. There are frequent shuttles to and from Piazza della Repubblica in the heart of Florence with very pleasant chauffeurs.

The property was beautiful! We was greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff, they could not do enough for you. We were upgraded to a beautiful garden room, which was lovely as it was my birthday. We had reserved a table at the La Loggia restaurant and had the vegetarian tasting menu and it was absolutely incredible. We had in room breakfast the next morning with a view and spent time at the pool, which was very relaxing. We loved that the property was dog friendly, even though we didn’t take ours, it was lovely to cuddle other people’s.

Overall the hotel was beautiful and the gardens were gorgeous. We loved how helpful and welcoming the staff were. The shuttle service is a huge plus, the pool was heated and breakfast was lovely both in the restaurant and room. We also specifically loved that there were events in the garden every other day, amazing musicians and artists! keep an eye out for the events as sometimes you come to know by chance.

Everything was perfect for our second time in this magnificent place, there is a soul there, something special. We will come back to it again and again. The food is excellent, and the service perfect. Special mention for Pino and Claudio at the pool who will do everything to satisfy you. Our suite was great with a wonderful view. Pleasant and smiling staff ready to do anything to satisfy you.
